Monthly Membership Growth Totals

On August 15, 2004 MrConey.com officially launced this site. At 01:08:30 PM EST MisterConey, appropriately, became the sites 1st official registered member. By August 31, there were 37 Members. As you can see from the line graph below, August 2004 had the most registered members of any August. For the 16 day period (15th to 31st), this is an average of 2.3 members per day. In order to break this record, we need 71 Members in any given August.

It is clear from the pattern illustrated in the line graph below the slow down in registration during the summer months of June, July & August. This is what is sometimes refer to as a summer lull in our hobby.

It is also quite clear that registration growth spikes during the months of December & January when, for a variety of reasons, hobbiests make or take the time to enjoy the indoor hobby of slot car racing.

It has been said that, “Life certainly has it’s ups and downs.” Apparently, so does the slot car hobby on a monthly basis!

Bar Graphs

A bar graph is a chart with rectangular bars with lengths proportional to the values that they represent.

A line graph has a vertical axis called the y-axis and a horizontal axis called the x-axis. Line graphs compare two variables which are plotted along each axis.
