REVELL CHAPARRAL II ROADSTER SLOT CAR RUNNER R3191 Purchased From A Collection Stored Since The Late 1960s This sale consists of one (1) used slot car track racing runner. Revell Body Released 1965 Lightweight precision scale detail vacuum formed body is painted gold. The chassis features an aluminum offset frame, the big Mabuchi FT36D motor with heat sinks, independently rotating front wheels, nylon set screw, pinions and screw-on spur gear with brass hubs and offset rear axle. The cast aluminum wheels are great representations of the Halibrand mag wheels. The front tires are ribbed and the rear tires, which will need to be replaced, are molded sponge slicks. This is the same chassis which was used with the 1966 RTR complete, pre decorated and ready to assemble kits like the Lotus 30, Genie Ford, Ford GT 40 models. Rear tires need replacing and there is a slight split on right rear which can be seen in the last image. Splits are unfortunately common for these bodies.
