| I am looking for a vintage Lancer lexan HO scale MATICK body to fit an Aurora T-Jet chassis. Lancer lexan bodies came with an instruction card and styrene mounting posts. The Lancer body number is 761 and originally sold for thirty cents! I can purchase this with or without the mounting posts but the body needs to be NOS and unmounted. This Lancer Matick needs to be from the THICKER original 1960's production please. I will also consider other Lancer bodies in both Can-Am or Endurance body styles. Cobramite under their Cobra lablel also made prepainted bodies of Butylcellulose which were untrimmed and used a Cobramite clip to mount to the Aurora T-Jet chassis. I will also consider an NOS version of this Cobramite Matick to complete the Pit Kit of all of the lexan early Can-Am styles. These cars are currently being professionally painted to represent actual cars in the Can-Am series. All of the chassis will feature vintage weight pans, hop-up gear sets, Aurora aluminum Speed Hubs, and vintage period tires. Each body is accurately decaled with vintage Aurora or Auto World decals. Bill Overmyer and Joe Bodnarchuck have both been instrumental to this project. Once the Can Am Pit Kit is complete, another Pit Kit of Endurance series cars will be buit up as well. No current or reproduction parts are in any of the Pit kits! Both of these projects represent how this hobby was enjoyed during the late 1960's. As a first generation T-Jetter I should know!
